"For me, working with colour is a magical process. It is about taking the personality of an individual or a business, and drawing out the colours that represent their true identity. I feel blessed to be doing something I truly love."
Karen Haller is a leading international authority in the field of applied colour psychology, specialising in business brand colour, interiors, healthcare and wellbeing. Having studied colour for over 20 years she understands how colour affects us, influences us and how businesses and designers can use it to influence behaviour.

It all began with crayons
Karen has loved colour since she was a little girl. She can still vividly remember a time in kindergarten when she was sitting in front of pots of paint and crayons and being beyond excited because she had all of these colours to play with. Her biggest challenge was deciding which colours to use first!
From that moment she was hooked - and ever since it's felt like she's had colour in her veins.
Over 20 years of study
Karen went on to explore how to use and apply colour across a range of disciplines, including:
- Fashion Design and Millinery at the Sydney School of Fashion
- Colour Consulting and Colour & Design at the International School of Colour and Design Australia.
- Interior Design at Kensington & Chelsea College, London
- Holistic Interior Design at the UK Holistic Design Institute.
- Applied Colour Psychology under the renowned UK Colourist and Psychologist, Angela Wright.
- Karen also gained a diploma in Child Psychology and is a Prince2 Project Manager.
As the UK's best known Applied Colour Psychology expert, Karen writes regularly on her own blog as well as guest blogs and articles including the prestigious Huffington Post. Karen's unique approach
What puts Karen in such high demand is her innate and intuitive understanding of applied colour psychology in business - colour psychology being the same subliminal system that the biggest global brands use to drive their sales.
