are these the right colours for my business brand?

Are these my business brand colours?

One of the most common questions I’ve been asked during this month of 30 blogs in 30 days is can you tell me if my business brand colours are right?

Naturally as business owners we all want to be attracting our ideal clients not repelling them so it is no surprise this has become a somewhat frequently asked question.

Without doing a full brand analysis which to answer a question like this would require, instead I’m going to set out a several tips you can follow to help you become more aware, and more concious of your colour choices.

4 steps to choosing the right business brand colours

1. Identify your business brand personality by establishing your core business values, aims and principles.

2. Select the tonal colour group (colour patterning) that best represent your business brand personality.

3. Select the colour or colours whose psychological properties best express your business brand.

4. Be aware the impact of the colours can change when colours are combined and their intensity changes.

Once you have identified your brand colour palette based on your business brand’s personality and values, and are using it in your marketing literature and everywhere in your business, you will begin to attract your ideal clients and customers.
