dulux Colour Futures™ 2013 trend colour sneak peek…
On Friday I headed off to what is becoming an annual event for me, listening to the engaging and interesting AkzoNobel colour expert, Per Nimer, discussing futures trends in colour. It is at this talk where Per also announces the coming year’s trend colour.
social media week – karen haller and constant contact
On Tuesday I found myself at Google’s London campus as a guest of Constant Contact. I was one of their two business case studies to show how I use social media for my business.
This was part of Social Media Week, taking place in cities all over world. Knowing the room would be full of business owners wanting to understand how they could use social media to help their business, I jumped at the opportunity.
london marathon 2012… the many roles colour plays
Instead of watching the London Marathon on TV, I decided to head down to Parliament Square (near St Stephen’s Tower , commonly known as Big Ben). This gave me a great vantage point to see the runners at mile 25.
A Colourful Day at The Women Unlimited Conference
I had the absolute pleasure of attending the 4th annual Women Unlimited Conference on Friday, held at the British Library and attended by over 200 business women. This amazing event is the brainchild of Julie Hall, founder of Women Unlimited.

Blue Alchemy: Stories of Indigo is a feature-length documentary about indigo, a blue dye that has captured the human imagination for millennia.
