As a colour psychology specialist, one of the things I love to do is to observe the impact that colour choices have on our behaviour both as individuals but also as a society.

Did you see the article in this week’s UK Daily Mail ‘Giving pink, purple and orange the kiss off: Red revealed as the sexiest lipstick colour.’
Scientists at the University of Manchester found that red lipstick draws attention to the mouth, most notably from the opposite sex.
This is because red is the colour of masculine energy. It is also the colour of passion and lust… need I say more.
Fiat Launches ‘You Wear’ – A World-First Facebook Fashion App That Reveals What Colour You Wear Most Often
There is a famous quote from Henry Ford “Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black.” Well FIAT are changing all that.
I’ve been working with FIAT on a fun Facebook App and now I can finally share it with you. It’s a fun and playful way to find out what colour you wear most and what that says about you. And it matches you to your car colour too. You can share your results with your friends and invited them to play too.
On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of working with Thomas Pink, the exclusive men’s tailors, as their colour psychology expert as part of their ‘Personally Pink’ campaign.
The thing I love about radio, they are really tuned into the news of the day, as it’s happening. As a colour expert, I never know when I’m going to be called to comment on the colour stories of the day.
So it was no different last Friday morning when I received a call from Jason’s researcher, the lovely Angela asking if I could be on air in an hour to give my insights on some news stories relating to colour…

I was also asked a similar question from @John__Cassidy, known as the headshot guy and a question on facebook about the colours to wear workshops and presentations so it is obviously something people want to know about.
