creating your very own dreamwall…

Watch any interior style programme and they’ll talk about creating a statement, an impact. This month’s interior design article is about just that … how to turn your wall into a stunning design statement. And there’s a 15% discount offer at the end!

As an interior designer I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting products for my clients.  One product I absolutely love is from Dreamwall – light weight wall coverings that mimic the look and feel of materials such as stone, brick, slate, steel, fabrics.

Hannah Coleman, the founder of Dreamwall,  unsuccessful in her own quest to find wall panels that looked like 100 yr old bricks, she decided to create her own. Realising she had hit on a fantastic design idea, Hannah went on to established  Dreamwall.

Dreamwall’s most popular wall panels are the slate, concrete and their flagship product ‘Rustic Brick’ which is also their best seller. At this year’s London Surface Design show over 50 new designs were introduced to the range.

The beauty of these wall panels is not only are they light weight; they come with easy DIY instructions.

Hannah’s most favourite requests are those with a quirky angle, having recently created an entire mock town including Tudor style buildings, a castle and stone cottages all using Dreamwall panels.  Another request was to create a private dungeon… I guess you’re only limited by your imagination.

As you can see from the images if you’re thinking of adding an impact to your interiors using Dreamwall panels can instantly transform the look and feel of any space. They are proving very popular in the commercial space with high profile clients such as River Island, Next, Fact Face and Lush as well as a number of celebrity clients.  If you’re not sure which style best suits you, your home or commercial space, working with an interior designer can help take all the guess work out of which is the right one for you.

Special Offer:
Dreamwall is offering 15% discount off their flagship product ‘RUSTIC BRICK’ when ordered and paid for in full by the end of September 2011.  This offer is available to UK Customers only and does not include shipping costs or adhesives.

Just send an email to Hannah on info@dreamwall.co.uk and quote special offer code ‘Karen Haller’.

      Hi Hannah,
It was my pleasure to feature your wonderful product. I love the variety in your range – something available no matter what your personality!

  2. How wonderful to be able to create your own dream wall, exactly as you wish, to add glamour, quirkiness or humour to your interior. What a great idea. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Thanks for letting me know about this! We are looking for a new house and this does kind of open my mind to other possibilities. When we do find a place I will look at this more – and talk to you of course Karen!

  4. This stuff looks brilliant. Could you use it to create a bathroom ‘grotto’? Is it that water-resistant? I’d love to know if it would work on my boat.

The Dreamwall products can be used in the bathroom. It’s best that you contact Hannah directly for a chat as to the extent it can be used in wet areas. Given it’s such a light weight product it would be ideal for a boat as it wouldn’t add additional weight like the stone, metal, etc would.

    • Thank you so much Tasmin for your lovely comment, the panels can be used in a bathroom but not directly as a shower wall, we are launching soon some HD panels that can be used in swimming pools and wet rooms – any more advice do get in touch many thanks Hannah
