Fiat Launches ‘You Wear’ – A World-First Facebook Fashion App That Reveals What Colour You Wear Most Often

FIAT YOU WEAR facebook app developed with Karen Haller

There is a famous quote from Henry Ford “Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants so long as it is black.” Well FIAT are changing all that.

I’ve been working with FIAT on a fun Facebook App and now I can finally share it with you. It’s a fun and playful way to find out what colour you wear most and what that says about you. And it matches you to your car colour too. You can share your results with your friends and invited them to play too.

I was thrilled to be asked to work on this campaign with FIAT.  Apparently a world-first Facebook Fashion App. I would certainly think one that combines the world of fashion and cars. My role was to bring my expertise of applied colour psychology to examine the psychological traits that help define what colours people are attracted to and what it means about their personality.

Personal Colour
In today’s world where we want to be able to express ourselves, other than your clothes, what else allows you to express your personality and get noticed more than what car you drive?”

Naturally I was really curious what colour the App would reveal for me. Turns out mine is sunny Countrypolitan Yellow!

How the FIAT ‘You Wear’ Facebook app works
The app scans the most recent 25 images tagged with your name, so if a quote or an object is tagged with your name then it gets included. The best thing to do first is make sure all the last 25 or so images of yourself are tagged with your name.

Now it’s your turn
Play it here https://apps.facebook.com/fiatyouwear/.  I’d love to know what your colour is…

Oh and not forgetting everyone who plays the App is entered into a prize draw to win one of 100 high street shopping voucher and the grand prize of a VIP stay at London Fashion Weekend in September.
