Sleep Art London - Karen Haller - Digital image of my canvas.

If you have been following my last two blog posts you would have seen I  took part in the  Sleep Art experience, where in Berlin, Paris and London ‘sleep artists’ were tucked up in bed asleep whilst robots worked throughout the night painting our every move.

And now I can unveil my very own sleep art creation.

(Day 21 into my 30 blogs in 30 days challenge!)

Sleeping on a mattress with 80 sensors I found it surprisingly really hot. I tossed and turned trying to find a cool spot on the mattress and all of this was translated into the art.

the colours
where there the most heat was detected the robot painted using red. Moderate heat orange was used, and then cooler still yellow. The white lines I think are more artistically indicating my body.

Here is a video of my art work actually being made whilst I am sleeping.  This is very cool. Just click on Art Gallery, then London and then on the image with the date 2012.11.20

And here is my very own piece of Sleep Art.

Sleep Art London - Karen Haller - Full digital image of my canvas.

Can’t wait to receive the actual canvas and frame it.
