summer of colour… drop in to colour at Turner Contemporary margate

The Turner Contemporary Margate is putting on an amazing line up of colourful events for their Summer of Colour from 24 May – 21 September 2014.

The Colour Group GB is thrilled to host “Drop in to Colour” on Saturday 14th June 2014.

Drop in from 13:00 until 16:00 to meet with scientists and friends of the Colour Group of Great Britain and explore the mysteries and magic of colour.  Join in the fun and games to see, feel and understand colour in fun new ways.

• Experience the world like you were colour blind
• Test your skills in games of communicating colour, win prizes, explore and make your own world of 3D colour
•  If you are one of the techie crowd, get creative and try out the brand new pre-release colour app
• Find out why blue is the world’s favourite colour and how birds, animals and fish see colour differently.

Given it’s the Summer of Colour… join me in the fun of painting on paper to create your favourite pictures, designs or shapes in the colours that express the summer of colour to you! There’ll even be a drying rack for you to hang up your masterpieces…
