Colour Makes People Happy Paint Shop East Dulwich London.

Colour Makes People Happy… Well with a store name like that I just had to check it out.

To be honest I’d come across this store back in 2010 reading an article in the Daily Candy blog, but it was only after reading a couple of articles late last year that I promised myself a (long overdue) visit in the new year when I got back from my trip to Australia. So yesterday I made the trip down to East Dulwich (south London) to meet Simon March, the man behind the colour… and it was well worth the visit.

social media week – karen haller and constant contact

Social media week London 2012. This opens a new browser window.

On Tuesday I found myself at Google’s London campus as a guest of Constant Contact. I was one of their two business case studies to show how I use social media for my business.

This was part of Social Media Week, taking place in cities all over world. Knowing the room would be full of business owners wanting to understand how they could use social media to help their business, I jumped at the opportunity.

Colours in nature - Seahorses.

When it comes to animals being able to change colour, seemingly at will, I just had to know more… what I’ve learnt is just amazing. A friend of mine, Akil Gordon-Beckford just happens to be one of the leading UK Aquarium designers. What he doesn’t know about seahorses isn’t worth knowing.  Here’s the abridged version…
